Authentic local? Hawaiian people with Hawaiian food is "Authentic local" mainly foreigners prosper here. Hawaiians are beat down and systemically oppressed and refuse to be in commerce and serve ungrateful privileged spoiled brats! A foreigner calling other foreigners local and telling the world about our home and constantly being advertised "by foreigners" to visit. Its a nightmare shit show for us "REAL" locals. Lawfully ALL of Hawaii is ours and there should be no poor Hawaiians but under this 131 year us millitary Occupation we have nothing! True Aloha is dissipating because the Aloha people are tired of being trampled on by a foreign system forced on us along with their citizens plugging up our life style at every public space with lines galore! Not good for the Hawaiians at all "in our own home"!

I do a similar thing at a camp I help at. Except i take small saplings and hockey sticks and cover them in foam and duct tape. Also make wooden shields and flails. The level of intensity is a bit higher at the camp though because the weapons are a lot more intimidating and heavy. I get about 40 students to fight with all these weapons, we don't do the whole costume thing though, that's a bit too weird for us.

Why do CC critics fail to direct any effort to improve the standards? Treat CC as one attempt to improve education. There is no reason we can't have more competitors. I find it insulting that the opponents focus on rejecting CC instead of improving education.

WHY IS THERE NO DISCUSSION???!!! Why no interest in the Common Core goals and its intended motive. CC is high minimum standards consistent for shared knowledge or subjects. Only the Common Core State Standards(CCSS), which is ONLY ONE set of standards intended to satisfy the CC goals. Why the concern about CCSS instead of the CC goals.
